The Service is operated by Readcapture("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Readcapture is a web-based application that helps users organize, search, and manage their Kindle highlights and reading notes. The Service allows you to:

• Import and sync your Kindle highlights
• Organize and categorize your highlights
• Search through your reading notes
• Export your highlights in various formats
• Access your highlights across devices

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any harmful, threatening, or offensive content

Your Kindle highlights may include content from books protected by copyright. You are responsible for ensuring your use of such content complies with applicable copyright laws and Amazon's Kindle terms of service.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. The features and limitations of each plan are described on our pricing section.

6.2 Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed through Paddle
• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
• You will continue to have full access to paid features until that date
• After the billing period ends, your account will automatically be downgraded to the free plan
• All your imported highlights and data will be retained and remain accessible
• You can resume your paid subscription at any time without losing any data

6.4 Refunds

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase
• Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error, we will issue a full refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@readcapture.com with your account details and reason for the refund request. Refunds are processed through Paddle.

Please note:

• Refunds are only available for the most recent billing period
• After receiving a refund, you will be downgraded to the free plan
• We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent or abusive

7. Service Availability

7.1 Uptime

While we strive to provide continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues
• Events beyond our control

7.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
